| For anyone involved in, or contemplating, buying or selling real estate in Calgary, you owe it to yourself to talk to Claudia Walz. She is a seamless professional; honest, enthusiastic, friendly, and smart, with a passion for her job that is unparalleled. Don't let her good looks and bubbly youth fool you. Beneath that shiny exterior is an extremely competent realtor, truly the "right woman for the job!" I first met Claudia over the phone and I was immediately impressed. I had called about one of her listings and she obviously realized this was a fairly new experience for me. Instead of trying to immediately "sign" me, as several other realtors had done, she offered to meet with me to discuss buying a home. Though she could possibly have sold me the house I was calling about, after a brief conversation about what I wanted, she told me she didn't think it was the right property for me. Now that's integrity! We met for coffee and Claudia explained to me why I should use only one realtor, what I needed to do before actually shopping, and offered some tips on comparing properties. She made me realize that what initially looks like a good deal might not be, for a number of reasons. At the end of our conversation she gave me a card and said, "Call me if you'd like me to work for you when you're ready to shop." When the time came to actually buy, Claudia and I looked at 13 homes in one day. I had been feeding her MLS numbers via email and she checked them out one by one, tirelessly picking out the winners and discarding the losers. I sent her so many listings I'm surprised she didn't put me on her blocked senders list. Anyone who thinks realtors don't earn their commissions has not met Claudia Walz! It was during this time that she demonstrated the depth of her knowledge about the Calgary real estate market. We knew exactly what we were looking for on that Sunday and we wrote an offer that was acccepted the following morning. It was the deal of a lifetime and exactly what I was looking for. When I decided to sell I had no doubt who I would call. Again Claudia amazed me. I told her how much I wanted for my home and she did a comprehensive analysis to arrive at the right asking price. As she rightly reminded me, listing a property at too high of a price can work against you. She told me I wanted top dollar but that she would do her best and put all of her positive energy into selling it for me. Once again her best was more than I could ever have hoped for. My house sold, for the price I wanted, the second day it was on the market! During the entire processes of both buying and selling my home in Calgary, Claudia proved she is a true professional. She looked out for my interests in every way, warning me of potential pitfalls and alerting me of possible opportunities. She absolutely loves her job and it shows in everything she does. She returned all of my calls and emails at light speed. It's truly amazing how much she does in a single day! Not too many realtors would be emailing documents at midnight for signing. Claudia's business is built on integrity and professionalism. I recommend her to anyone buying or selling real estate in Calgary. If you are new to the market or a seasoned real estate investor, she is an excellent choice. If you haven't had Claudia Walz working for you, you don't know what you're missing. | As a first time home purchaser, I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. Claudia made the whole process stress free and enjoyable. There seemed to be very little work for me to do (other than find the place that I liked). A couple times, I would contact her to make sure that there wasn't anything that I was missing, but she had it all under control. You can tell that Claudia loves her job. She is extremely dedicated to finding you a 'home' that you will be happy in. When it comes to negotiating, she does her homework and finds out what other similar places sold for in the area. Claudia encouraged me to ask any questions I had - no question was a dumb one. I could count on her to give me an honest answer. | Hello Claudia, I hope you are good, because we are awesome!!!! I am writing you this email to tell you how you helped change our lives by selling and purchasing a new HOME. We were living in a condo which we had out grown and our kids were desperately needing space to play outside. We were living on top of each other and with the long winter were driving each other crazy. With a lot of patience and your expertise we were able to sell our place for a fair price in a very difficult market!!! House shopping was so much fun with you and all your advice was professional and educational. I loved how no question was a stupid question and how all my questions were answered honestly. The HOME (not just a house) we purchased is perfect!!! We are all enjoying the extra room, the yard and most of all just being able to go for a walk around the neighborhood. She always went the extra mile and ensured that even the small details were taken care of. We were away on holidays while our place was listed and she had a professional landscaping company come in and make sure our yard was maintained to maximize or showing potential.
